Charis is from the Bay Area, and grew up in the small town of Castro Valley. She attended the ICC in 2007, and became interested in the process and organization of the conference. Though the ICC is geared more toward Business students, the opportunity for students to learn about business should be available to everyone. She felt that the ICC was the perfect way to reach out to other students and to develop her own business skills as well.

Charis has always been interested in the latest technology and software, and interacting with people. She interned at In Ticketing, a website that distributes and sells tickets for various venues, where she works as a quality assurance tester, working with the website and software. Charis has also organized events with other extra curricular clubs on campus and feels that the ICC and past work will help her in the future when it comes to working with other people.

In her free time, she enjoys running, eating, music and watching sports, especially football, baseball, basketball and track and field. The Oakland A's and San Francisco 49ers are her favorite teams, and roots for any other team that plays against the LA Lakers.
