Amanda is originally from Benicia, California, a small Bay Area town just thirty minutes from San Francisco. She attended the ICC in 2008 and found that she would like to contribute to another successful conference. She viewed the ICC as an opportunity for students to network with potential employers and also felt it was important for all students to learn current trends in business.

Amanda interned at Wells Fargo’s Internet Service Group, which sparked her interest in online media advertising and project management. She also found a strong connection between her marketing and finance curriculums. The ICC has also led to her interest in event planning, which she hopes to pursue in the future.

When not busy with the ICC, she enjoys the outdoors, being with her family and friends and walking her dog. She also enjoys traveling and has been throughout the United States, Mexico, and through several countries in Europe.
