Pooja Patel is originally from the Bay Area, California. She became interested in becoming the Director of Finance for ICC after hearing about how much she could learn from the position. She viewed the ICC as an opportunity to get hands on experience in Accounting and Finance, which would later help her in her career. After traveling extensively throughout Europe and Asia, she also liked how ICC is an opportunity for students at Cal Poly to gain knowledge about international careers and find valuable career prospects.

This summer, Pooja Patel is interning at Grant Thornton L.L.P in downtown San Jose. When not busy, she enjoys running, yoga, and learning how to cook cuisines from around the world. She loves traveling and wishes to take a trip to Greece very soon.
